One Day.
One Oval.
All of Bondi
Here's everything you need to know before Saturday 13 June 2026 — what to expect, what to wear, what to eat, and where it all ends.
What is Ladies Day
At Waverley Rugby, we've always understood that the backbone of any great rugby club is the women behind it.
Ladies Day is our opportunity to celebrate and recognise all the incredible women in our lives. The partners, mothers, sisters, volunteers, supporters, alumni and now, proudly, our women's players, who help make Waverley Rugby what it is.
For the first time in over a decade, we are incredibly proud to have women's rugby back at Waverley. As one of the first clubs in the country to support and play women's rugby, it feels right that we are once again building something special in the blue and gold.
This day is about saying thank you to the amazing women who support our players, our club and our community every single season.
So whether you're a long-time supporter, part of our growing women's program, or simply someone who loves the spirit of community rugby, we invite you to join us for the biggest event in NSW Suburban Rugby.

What to Wear
- 01
Dress to Impress
Ladies Day is your excuse to go all out. Think elevated race day style, statement pieces and outfits you feel confident in. Whether your look is glam, classic or colourful, this is the day for it.
- 02
Think Races
Racewear inspiration is always a safe bet. Blazers, dresses, boots, heels and tailored looks all fit the vibe perfectly. Hats and fascinators are welcome but never required.
- 03
Bring a Coat
June in Sydney can get cold, especially later in the afternoon and evening. Most of the day is outdoors, so we strongly recommend bringing a coat or jacket to stay comfortable.
- 04
Footwear Matters
You'll likely be on your feet for most of the day, moving between areas and spending time outdoors. Choose footwear you can comfortably wear all day and night.
- 05
No Strict Formality
There's no black-tie requirement. We want everyone to feel comfortable, confident and ready for a great day with friends.
The goal is simple: look good, stay warm and enjoy the day.
